VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus (VVP) is licensed per physical CPU core, with a minimum purchase of 16 cores per processor. Even if your processor has less than 16 physical cores, you must purchase at least 16 core licenses.
Example: You want to license a host with one CPU - then you must add at least 16 of this product to your shopping cart.
For servers with two CPUs with 24 cores each, you need 48 units.

The subscription always includes access to the latest vSphere version, ongoing updates and VMware technical support for the duration of the subscription.
